WHAT IS THE QUIKSILVER INNOVATION CONTEST?The QUIKSILVER INNOVATION CONTEST is a world-wide annual competition, open to design lovers everywhere; Professionals, students & amateurs are all invited to enter.
Participants have 4 months to propose their best concepts; ideas will be judged by a celebrated jury of professionals, in the fields of design, sport & innovation.
The aim of the competition, is to promote the work of designers across the globe, that have ground breaking ideas about what tomorrow’s world will be made of.
Through this initiative, the Quiksilver group aims to recognise the importance of individual designers as a source of inspiration, & to promote their involvement in the definition of its brands.
DEADLINE : 30 August 2007
PRIZE :
1st prize : 5 000 €
2nd prize : 3 000 €
3rd prize : 2 000 €
EXHIBITION:
The winner of the 2007 QUIKSILVER INNOVATION CONTEST will see its project exposed during the ISPO 2008 show in Munich.
The best additional projects submitted will also be published in the international press & on the internet.
